`Joker Smoker’ is yet another long lost classic from the Greensleeves archives from a great vocalist Triston Palma, and one of the all time legendary producers – Jah Thomas
Originally released in 1982 and backed by the legendary Roots Radics, this album stands the test of time and with some great songs mostly in a rootical vein riding the tough rhythms of the day.
The albums biggest hit ‘Joker Smoker’ is an all time classic and was revamped in recent times with Alborosie reworking the rhythm for his massive `Herbalist’ The 12” was re-released at the end of last year (GRED93).
The other tracks on the album are no less than essential, with 4 bonus CD tracks.
This is the first time on CD for this album and the LP comes in its original sleeve.
Jah Thomas was one of the building blocks for the Greensleeves label and he is still producing music in JA to this very day.
