Exactly what it says on the tin. DJ Clash – 3 The Hard way features three of the most popular and seminal DJ’s from the early 1980’s DJ era, with Nicodemus, Little Harry and Billy Boyo, all of whom were DJ’s on Jamaica’s biggest sound system at the time - Volcano
The Nicodemus tracks are taken from the LP `DJ Clash’ (GREL32 – recently repressed) while the Little Harry and Billy Boyo tracks are taken from the LP `DJ Clash 2’ (GREL50). Both these albums were top 10 reggae albums at the time of their original release.
Recorded in 1982/83, produced by Henry “Junjo” Lawes, engineered and mixed by Soljie Hamilton, Errol Thompson & Barnabas and backed by the High Times Band & Roots Radics.
This is the first time any of these tracks have appeared on CD, having only previously surfaced on vinyl.
